Step into a reflective and creative space with artist and educator Hannah Yason, as you explore the concept of the Soul Portrait - a visual expression of your inner self in the present moment. A Soul Portrait is more than a likeness, it is a way to depict your emotions, energy, and essence, capturing who you are “right now” on a spiritual, emotional, and creative level. It can be abstract or figurative, symbolic or expressive, using colour, shape, texture, and form to reflect your personal truths. Creating a soul portrait encourages self-reflection, introspection, and a deeper connection with your authentic self, allowing you to witness and honour your internal landscape in a tangible, visual form.
Hannah brings decades of experience teaching art across the UK, France, and South Africa, working with learners of all ages and abilities, including those with special educational needs. As a practicing artist and founder of process-based art programs for adults and children, she combines technical skill, psychological insight, and a compassionate, inclusive teaching style. Her background in mindfulness and Shambhala Buddhist art practices, along with professional qualifications in therapeutic and educational applications of the arts, allows her to guide participants safely and creatively through a process of introspection and expression.
