Building a Cultural Knowledge Resource

Alongside its public events programme, the Spiritual Arts Foundation has developed a substantial online knowledge resource dedicated to exploring the relationship between spirituality and creativity.

Since its establishment, the Foundation has published more than 800 pages and articles, creating a freely accessible educational resource for artists, researchers, students, practitioners and members of the wider public.

Published Resources

The Foundation's website currently contains 822 published pages and posts, covering a wide range of subjects related to spirituality, creativity, culture and the arts.

These include:

Resource TypeNumber
Total pages and posts822
Archive and knowledge library articles506
Creator profiles and contributions195
Religious festival resources179
Spiritual film reviews92
Historical spiritual artist profiles44
Historical spiritual composer profiles21
Original member and volunteer articles13

Together, these resources form one of the most substantial online collections devoted to the spiritual arts currently available.

Preserving Cultural Knowledge

A significant proportion of the Foundation's work has focused on documenting and preserving cultural knowledge that might otherwise remain difficult to access.

Particular attention has been given to the spiritual significance of religious and cultural festivals from traditions including Christianity, Hinduism, Buddhism, Islam, Judaism, Sikhism, Baha'i, Jainism, Zoroastrianism, Paganism, Rastafari and Chinese folk traditions.

The Foundation has also developed resources exploring spiritual themes in art, music, film, literature and contemporary creative practice.

Creating Public Access

All of these resources are made freely available through the Foundation's website.

This allows audiences worldwide to access material that would otherwise be dispersed across many different sources or unavailable to the general public.

The Foundation's approach combines education, preservation and public engagement, creating resources that can be used for personal study, creative inspiration, teaching, research and cultural exploration.

A Growing Resource

Unlike a traditional publication, the Foundation's knowledge resource continues to expand over time.

New articles, profiles, reviews and educational resources are added regularly, allowing the collection to grow in both size and scope.

This cumulative approach means that each new contribution strengthens the overall value of the resource while increasing its usefulness to future audiences.

What This Demonstrates

The publication of more than 800 pages and articles demonstrates the Foundation's capacity to create and maintain a substantial body of educational and cultural content.

It also demonstrates sustained commitment to the preservation, development and promotion of knowledge relating to spirituality and creativity.

The resulting resource provides lasting public benefit and represents one of the Foundation's most significant achievements to date.
