The Foundation Today - Introduction
This collection of articles provides an overview of the Spiritual Arts Foundation's development, activities and achievements since its establishment in 2021.
While other Foundation documents focus on the organisation's mission, vision and the wider significance of the spiritual arts, The Foundation Today is concerned primarily with evidence. Its purpose is to document what the Foundation has achieved, the audiences it has reached and the resources it has developed.
Since its launch, the Foundation has grown from a small volunteer-led initiative into an international cultural platform. It has built a community of more than 2,500 members, delivered 129 public events, developed a substantial online knowledge resource containing more than 800 published articles and pages, attracted visitors from more than 190 countries and territories, and established a growing network of creators, volunteers, supporters and subscribers.
The articles that follow examine these developments in greater detail. Together, they provide evidence of audience engagement, public reach, organisational growth and the continuing demand for the Foundation's work.
The achievements described here have been realised with limited financial resources and largely through volunteer effort. They represent not future aspirations, but work that has already been completed and communities that already exist.
